Ce projet, financé en partie par Erasmus +, propose à 39 élèves français, anglais et allemands de co-créer une pièce de théâtre dans les 3 langues. Celle-ci aura pour thème principal la 1ère guerre mondiale. Durant deux années, les élèves travailleront avec des professionnels du théâtre du Residenztheater de Munich et de la compagnie Eolisonge. Les élèves effectueront une tournée européenne prévue en mai-juin 2018.

Das Theaterprojekt „The war to end all wars“ vereint drei Schulen aus Frankreich, England und Deutschland, die als ehemalige Kriegsgegner des Ersten Weltkriegs nun gemeinsam eine Produktion entwickeln, die für mehr gegenseitiges Verständnis und Toleranz werben soll. Jeweils 13 Schülerinnen und Schüler erarbeiten gemeinsam mit Theaterprofis des Münchner Residenztheaters ihr eigenes Theaterstück, das sich den großen Themen der Zeit widmet: Krieg, Frieden, Völkerverständigung und europäische Zusammenarbeit.

This Erasmus+ project is an exciting collaboration between 3 schools in France, England and Germany. 39 pupils are working with professionals from the Residenztheater in Munich to develop a production in 3 languages based around the title ‘The War to End all Wars’. They will explore themes based around the First World War, peace, tolerance and mutual respect. The pupils will have the opportunity to visit each of the three countries and stay with local families whilst they research and rehearse the production and will perform to European audiences in 2018.
